Why we're building this
It started with a frozen waterfall in Castle Rock, Colorado. A neighbor spotted water pouring off a deck into the basement of a vacant home. By the time anyone got the shutoff call, 600,000 gallons had run through the meter. The house was condemned and torn down.
And it wasn't a one-time thing. With travelers and part-time residents throughout the community, leaks like this kept slipping through. The data was there. The meters were there. Nobody caught it in time. That's exactly what AquaTrakr is here to fix.
We know this space
We've spent years in the water utility software world and seen firsthand what works and what doesn't. We've watched good technology go unused because it just wasn't built with people in mind. Too complicated. Too many clicks. Too much training required just to do a simple task.
